SECURE DESTRUCTION
Secure, cost-effective, and confidential document destruction services.
ECO FRIENDLY BENEFITS
AFS places a high priority on sustainability and eco-friendly operations. After we complete the shredding process, 100% of our paper is recycled, going directly to our paper mill partners. According to recent EPA estimates, each ton of recycled paper can save 17 trees, 380 gallons of oil, 3 cubic yards of landfill space, 4,000 kilowatts of energy, and 7,000 gallons of water.
RECURRING SHREDDING SERVICES
AFS will provide secure shred bins or consoles that can be placed in your business for sensitive information that is generated in house, which cannot be disposed of by placing in the trash. These locked containers can be rotated out on a predefined schedule, or on an as needed basis when they become full. They remain locked until they are picked up by our trained staff and delivered to our destruction facility.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
AFS offers a wide variety of recurring shredding services that best suits the needs for any company. Disposing of sensitive information can become extremely time consuming and costly if not handled properly. Our company is specifically focused on reducing the cost and stress of document destruction by providing the most effective and secure process that we can. A trained AFS staff member, dressed in our AFS uniform, will deliver empty, pad locked bins to your business. Once you fill the bins, we pick them up and deliver them to our destruction facility, where we properly and securely destroy the information. All bins have a barcode tracking number, which is captured on a receipt at the time of rotation. Once the paper is shredded and destroyed, it is transported to a third party facility that recycles 100% of the materials.
SPECIAL REQUESTS
We offer a variety of plans that are designed to best fit the needs and budget of your business. We have trained staff that will come onsite and assist with annual file purges or a full clean out of storage cabinets or shelving. This is a great option for businesses that might not have the staff or time to keep up with this process.
SHRED BIN SELECTION
We offer a variety of solutions to collect your sensitive documents for destruction. For small to high volume daily use, we offer desk-side bins or our lockable bins on wheels that range in size from 32 to 96 gallons. If a front office solution is needed, we offer shred consoles. These consoles are designed to look more like a piece of furniture, or cabinet, which can also hold a small copier, printer, or scanner.
AUDIT PROCESS & CERTIFICATE OF DESTRUCTION
Accountability and security are always top priorities at AFS. Every step of our process can be audited from top to bottom. We also have the ability to provide our customers with certificates of destruction.
BULK COMMERICAL DESTRUCTION & SHREDDING
IS THIS OPTION RIGHT FOR YOUR BUSINESS?
Bulk destruction and shredding is the most cost effective way to dispose of your documents and records. Our facilities and systems are designed to save your business as much time and money as possible. If your business requires bulk destruction of sensitive information, AFS will provide a secure process that can be completed in a timely manner. We offer this service to customers currently storing records in one of our offsite facilities, as well as businesses storing onsite, within their own facilities. If your business stores onsite, we offer our trained staff to pick up and deliver the bulk order to our destruction facility. The order will then be shredded, or destroyed, and delivered to a third party company who recycles 100% of the disposed material. We offer this service for all types of information, including paper documents, x-rays or film, and hard-drives or other types of electronic media.
MEDIA & HARD DRIVE DESTRUCTION
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Our process for media and hard drive destruction is similar to our bulk destruction services and our recurring shredding services. Back-up tapes and SSD drives are destroyed using the same shredding process as paper documents, while hard drives are destroyed using and NSA approved device.
